haruky, do you want to say something reinforcing how this is supposed to be a fun and relaxed tournament and how it's NOT supposed to be about scooping up the 4 or 5 best players possible so you can have a guaranteed win before the tournament even begins? Also, it seems like some people here didn't actually read anything you wrote about GC members only when forming their teams.

Also, excuse my ignorance about competitive play, but why would you ever play with 5 people a team when there are 4 players squad?

5s are the most common competitive mode. You can split squads up however you want, 3 and 2, 4 and 1. People can switch squads whenever to spawn on people in good spots.

I agree with Henidhor on this one. Wouldn't it be better if this tournament was organized as an ice-breaking event before the next campaign? Come on guys, lay off the win-at-all-costs attitude and play with people you haven't played with before.

Has anyone asked Daskro about livestreaming this with the freecam?

It's a mod for bf3 - http://theblue.co/freecam.php. You can see a little about how it works in daskro's video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jjPEAp-Kyo. Personally I think the videos generated with this tool are a bit off. The units' movement and camera tracking don't seem very smooth yet. But I suppose it's better than nothing.

As for the tournament,I too think 5v5 is the preferable game mode. CQ is more familiar to most around here.

And I'll sign up as a merc as well. I think there are enough to form a couple of teams depending on the decided tournament format.
