2142 Beta Reopened

FilePlanet has reopened signups for the 2142 beta. Keys are available right now. File size is 1194.4MB. You cant download the file (even using the link that was posted) without being admitted into the beta. I doubt the keys will last long.

If you dont get in....honestly, dont sweat it much. Talk about bug-tastic. 1.3rd of the servers are kicking all the new players for modified content, the rest are full, and even when I get IN a server, I cant stay on more than 5 minutes before I get dropped.

Wasn't much "fun" yesterday when your team is set up basicly by lonewolfes and the other sides has two clans with 4-5 guys each playing together

I'd love to hear about the team-play aspects of the Titan mode... it seems to be perfect for a community such as ours!

I got my key today too

installed it, made the settingsat max etc, loaded up a server, and what happened?

crash to desktop

it looked quite cool though ont he 2nd attempt. to be honest it looked more like a mod than a new game though.

For now I think the titan mode is to fast. Didn't stop the time but the rounds really feel short.
Besides that the titanmode looks interesting, could be fun in organised teamplay.

Titan mode is fast when one side actually works towards it or people are glitching the titan... ive also seen rounds that we had to wait for the silos to take down the titan because no one attacked or the defense was so good..

Just like when i had sex for the first time, im disapointed.

I played for about 15 mins, flew some plane type thing, used the mech and drove a tank.

I know its only a beta but i was left thinking 'is that it?'.

Its like a mod, excpet u get more bugs with it.

It is still buggy. Then again, its got some fun there. Cant wait to get my next 2 unlocks.

takes 8 unlocks to unlock a complete kit ....

Ive gotten the entire assault side of the assault kit... now im gonna start working on the longer faster recovering sprint, and my last squad leader upgrade (floating gun turret )

Its a fun game... and its alot more than a mod... just gotta play without all the bugs and smacktards... I would love to see organized clan play on this...

Also for people that might not know.. on the right and left hand side of the hanger are pod doors that you can use to quickly jump down to land (especially if the titan is over a enemy silo) also you can man the titan guns which are like huge cannons
