Why you want to go with AMD for this, I don't know, but if you must, this is the chip. C2D is king right now... I still don't trust the whole quad thing yet. I have no idea how overclockable this chip is either, but it's an FX.

could add another GPU or another 2 Gigs of ram to really max it out, but it's already ridiculous as is.
I did not add any HDD's, OS, or after-market cooling into this at all. That stuff is all personal taste/opinion. I personally have stayed away from water-cooling just for fear of leaking, but a lot of guys use it with no problems, and clock their systems into the stratosphere. I have this crazy idea of converting a mini-fridge into a computer case....
There are places one could improve on this...but DAAAAAAMN she's gonna be fast.
