Global Conflict

Hey guys, I'm entirely new to the GC concept but it sounds like a real blast. I'm new to battlefield, having just jumped on board with BF3 (Actually it was gifted too me) but I'm excited to get some cooperative play from the game.

Before bf3, I played RO2 alot and commentated competitive matches. That community is pretty much gone, though, so BF3 is my new fps squeeze atm.

I am curious, are the saturday matches first come first serve until the servers fill up?

No they are not. What will happen is that you will be assigned to an army.

Hello, Fields!

First of all, you're going to want to officially sign up in our campaign thread which is located here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=17203&start=255
After signing up, just wait and you'll be assigned an army which you will be playing with until the end of the campaign. (Just keep watching the thread to look for an update on your post)

Secondly, our Saturday matches (Battledays) are generally a first come first serve. However, we usually don't have an exceeding amount of players so you're almost guaranteed a spot to play so don't worry about whether you'll get a spot or not.

Lastly, please feel free to PM me if you have any questions regarding GC!

Not exactly.. There are two sides to the battle which you will get assigned to when you sign up under the correct forum. I think right here viewtopic.php?f=3&t=17203 The TAs will assign you to an army and then from there you have to post in that army forum. Each army has a different way for setting up Saturday Battles so you will have to check with them once you are assigned. WELCOME!

In short, if you want to have fun thru the good and bad of battles, you will make new friends that lasts beyond BF3.
