title, what does the black ops mean ?

black ops is when we play smaller battles to learn about enemy territories, snipe divisions, and get air drops to use on the main battle day. No, we do not play CoD on Tuesdays - we just play the smaller versions of various maps (maybe different game modes, etc. depending on what the TA's decided for this campaign)

Maybe we should start thinking about changing the name of the Tuesday battles.

tactical operations

I'm pretty sure there was at least one other name for them... but I can't remember

The appropriate term would be African American Ops. But why not open up to other alternatives such as:
White (not Hispanic or Latino) Ops
Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander Ops
American Indian or Alaskan Native Ops
Asian Ops
Hispanic or Latino Ops

I think the easiest way to clarify things is to just call it "HALO night". After all, some of the maps do have a really high flight ceiling.

But seriously, if you want to change the name, "Spec Ops" would probably be the best.
