We finished what was the last campaign played on BF3 and we are currently waiting for BF4 to be released and start the new one. Nevertheless, you can hop in on TeamSpeak and do some pubbing or play some other game we are into.

Heyyy. Unfortunately you've caught us between campaigns and in the pre-bf4 waiting period. We'll have some events this & next weekend, but there likely won't be as many people actively playing bf at least until the first of October. Welcome, in any case <3

How did you find out about us.

With the upcoming release of BF4 we will hopefully be getting a nice sized wave of new people.

to be frank i don't think so. from what I see on TS people now play Arma3, Wargame, Planetside 2, Payaday 2, Company of Heroes 2 and etc. But hey, BF4 beta is around the corner so we will get the chance to play together pretty soon.

What if I like to play as Commander and BF4 does support my type of play? How would I go about that in GC?

You mean how do you get to be a commander on battledays?

In BF3, there was little competition for FC (field commander) roles. This is because trying to coordinate squads when your best tool is a MAV kind of (really) sucks. Hopefully, commander tools will make commanding easier, and more fun and we'll have more people stepping up into that role. If that's something you want to do, when BF4 Campaign 1 rolls around, let your officers know that commanding is something you want to do and they'll help you get prepared for the job. You'll probably have to prove yourself to some degree as a squad leader first, however.

Just keep an eye on the forums. Soon (whatever that means), generals for BF4C1 will be chosen. After that, they'll select their High Command staff and fill out the rest of their officer corps. Once that's done (or as it's wrapping up) there will be some kind of an announcement, saying "hey! check out our new armies. sign-ups for the draft are open." Then you can sign up for said draft and you'll be picked by one side or the other. How exactly the draft will be carried out is still up in the air. Once you're in an army, you can more or less pick your role. Typical armies are split into air, armor and infantry divisions, so you'll sign up for one of those and jump into the fight.
All assumptions of the timetable leading up to the beginning of BF4C1, should such a campaign come to pass, are based on previous campaigns. Such procedures are subject to change based on the will of the GC Hivemind.
