Global Conflict

I have been lurking around here for the past couple days after I saw LoA's video on the Battlefield 4 subreddit. I know that statement might cause some backlash on LoA since he apparently wasn't supposed to post it considering he didn't have approval from the PR guys (brief synopsis that I may or may not have correct), so SORRY LoA! I come from the BF2 mod Project Reality, in which I played in a couple of tournaments. I've also played off and on in the United Operations server in ArmA 2: CO (which I think one of those two Hitman47 I've seen in).

I also noticed that in this thread GC was looking for volunteers to cast Battledays. I'm pretty sure that Battledays are the Saturday events and Black Ops are the mid-week events (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). I also understand that the decision has been made and I have not voiced myself in a timely fashion however I would be interested in co-casting Battledays or the 'Top 10 x' if either of those are to happen. I have no casting or DJ experience outside of using Twitch.tv and OBS to stream some practices (LoL and BF3 way back when), so I am by all means a noob in this field with some interest in it.

Currently I don't get on TeamSpeak considering I'm mainly playing League of Legends and I tend to be moving from place to place.

As one of the 'PR guys' I gotta say there's no such thing as approval to post! You can share however you want your gameplay! Also, I added you to our PR group so we can talk more about the casting part. Thanks for volunteering!

You are completely right about battledays on saturday and BO's on tuesdays.
I also think there is only way to get better at casting and that is by just doing it, the more the merrier

First off, welcome to GC! If you played BF2 PR and Arma 2 you'll love it here. I used to play BF2 PR and Arma 2 PR and I'm waiting anxiously for Arma 3 PR.

If you saw someone called "hotdog" on the same server as hitman, that was probably me . We play Arma 2 now and then in GC's teamspeak if you want to hop on and have some fun. We used to play Arma 2: Project Reality when that was still up and running, but nowadays we just fool around on Zargabad Life.

Twitch.tv recently changed some settings and so I only have like three past broadcasts that are from two years ago, which are mainly me testing xSplit. However this is a League of Legends practice we had last week, I'm not commentating but it is something.

Note: I'm the one who asks for 'corki' and then says 'wait never mind I can't pick you any jungles.' Also I'm going to be lowering my mic settings considering how loud I am in comparison to the others on skype.

Ok sounds great! And I think the approval to post was in reference to posting recruiting videos or recruiting in general? I really don't know but I'm really glad I saw the video and the great gameplay from LoA. Thanks for adding me to the group!

Hey Frosty! Always nice to have more project reality dudes in here! Loa basically said everything I wanted to say, maybe we'll get some arma 2 zargabad life games together until BF4 comes out!

I forgot to mention this earlier but currently I'm in college and at in a dorm room so I don't have my desktop with me. I'm on my laptop which can run BF4 but it will implode if I even try downloading ArmA 2/3 lol. Next semester I plan on having my PC in the apartment I'll have moved into. I'm really looking forward to contributing to the community and trying my hand at streaming!

Yes, the 'approval', which is more of a talk than anything, is just regarding recruiting posts, where you represent GC. Other things, like gameplay videos or any other personal content, don't get into this recommendation.
