Global Conflict

You say that windows plays the USB device connect and disconnect sound. But no real input if that symptom carries to another computer. Do any other USB devices have issue or is it only the mouse? Energy wise, you're probably better off using a different mouse for a month.

I've been using another mouse for ages with no problems. I did initially try it on a new laptop and it had no problems, then I switched it over to the gaming laptop and still had no problems for a while. Then they started to develop slowly and get worse and worse.
I'll try using the mouse on my work laptop for a few days (starting from tomorrow) and see what happens.
