Removing Videos from BF2

If u remember there was a way in bf1942 to remove the starting videos of the game so it can load quicker in the menu. Is there a way to do that in bf2??
Plus if u know any other tricks for shortening waiting time or for example lag feel free to post.

Go to your Bf2\mods\bf2\movies folder and rename dice.bik, ea.bik, intro.bik, and legal.bik. suppose you could just delete them but i just renamed them to .bik2 and it works fine.

I just deleted all of em, including the menu.
Movies = Less Memory for Game

Hmmm, I'm wrestling to keeping the game and windows under 1gig of memory. It definitely makes a difference. I'll have to see how much the ingame movie adds during play.
