Because then it can be put behind the channel link so the users know which channel is online or not.
Stole this from somewhere, you just have to build an image with e.g. gd-image:

Code: Select all

<?php
$channelName = 'channelname'; //Set this to the channel name - all lowercase
$json_file = file_get_contents('http://api.justin.tv/api/stream/list.json?channel={$channelName}', 0, null, null);
$json_array = json_decode($json_file, true);
if ($json_array[0]['name'] == 'live_user_{$channelName}') {
  //BUILD "ONLINE" IMAGE
  }
else {
  //BUILD "OFFLINE" IMAGE
  }
?>
I'll try to throw something together.

Done.

The 16x16 icon is green when the channel in the link is online, red when it's not.
Sarantini's channel as an example:

Just use the "img" tag on a link with this format:

Code: Select all

What about creating a tab on the mainpage where you can see all the streams embedded or something. Sorted by army, that would be awesome!

Oh and my voice is on my stream too loud compared to all the other voices. How do I change this? is there an option to turn down your own mic or something?

That would be the ideal situation in my opinion. Even if it's not embedded or anything, just a drop-down box with the links and Flummi's images would already be great. It's neat having they in this thread, but I think not many people check them during battledays because they are too many clicks away.

Nebandan Round 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoQx_BQN ... e=youtu.be
Karklands Round 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01Jn-AHk ... e=youtu.be

Alborz Round 3 is incoming, but Youtube is terrible for telling me that my video was over length only after I had it uploaded it for hours. :S

Please upload to youtube, pulling raw video from twitch is way too time consuming.
Uploading to youtube is easy, you just link the accounts, then click "upload to youtube." Then you paste me the link.

Since I finally have the hardware/software to enable gameplay recording, I figured I'd give it a try to help record point of views of future battle days. I've been testing settings to see what works. I'm currently using Dxtory with the Lagarith codec, YUY2 mode to capture at 720p30 and then using h264 to encode for upload to Youtube. Here are a couple test recordings from yesterday's black ops. Please let me know if anything needs to be corrected for future recordings, thanks.

Epicenter R2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JX2sy53c4yg (NOTE: I uas using my speakers here hence the echo. Also, the final render is darker than the capture for some reason. It's very noticeable on the YT upload. I might fiddle with the YT lighting correction.)
