Global Conflict

Please can someone explain this post to me?

Is this a torrent download? If so, what do I need to do to get it?

I've always kept my distances from torrents, so I do not know anything about this process.

I'm trying to access Origin since early this morning and getting denials of service with a "server reset" message.

Yes, it's a torrent. However just tried to use it and couldn't get it to work for me. Started the download, paused it then copied the files over and the download just started again >.<

I'm very thankful for the info, styphon. I'll stay away from this.

I finally got through to Origin and started the downloading process. I'm surprise that It is actually running quite fast at 10mbps. So the 3.9 GB download might just take about an hour.

Mine started that fast but it's slowly been getting slower. Down to just 370KB/sec now.

I'm well and truly pissed off. Downloaded it but when it got to 100% its kept on going. Currently at 4.7GB of 3.9GB >.<. Waiting to speak to EA Support. Bet they just tell me to restart...

Yes, mine did the same thing, but the percentage continued to creep slowly upward always indicating 15 more minutes to go, and than everything was over and it finally went into install mode.

No, mine got to 00:00:00 and kept going.
