World Stunned as Full Extent of PMC Takeover Revealed
Private Military Corporations seize power in nations across the globe.
In an incredible turn of events, mysterious Private Military Corporations calling themselves PRIDe and DARK have announced complete takeover in all 195 recognised nations. After the fall of the United States and China, the Russian Federation surrendered in the early hours of this morning while the nations of NATO likewise announced capitulations.
Announcements of controlled territory were made at approximately 12:00:00 CST, where both PMCs independently confirmed that assaults had been made in all countries, although not all had been successful at the time.

Regarding the confusion in the aftermath of the cessation of commercial flights within US airspace, both PRIDe and DARK representatives offered statements. Speaking for jointly for both PRIDe and DARK, "We deeply regret that all commercial flights must cease within controlled airspace worldwide. Rest assured we will do all that we can to minimise the confusion that has followed our announcement.
As part of our efforts, flights will resume operation for the duration of three days starting in exactly one week and ceasing exactly 72 hours later. Military and civil air assets will be used to make sure all passengers get to where they want to be. After this second cessation, any air travel will have to be applied for via our official Consumer Relations departments and sanctioned by both DARK and PRIDe."
In response to recent events, one official spoke candidly about what this all means. "Two ultra-powerful corporations have stepped out of the shadows and taken control of the world - almost effortlessly - in a few hours. Their use of highly-coordinated conventional and cyber-based warfare assets says that these people are very serious about what they are doing, and it says that they are nervous. All this tension has been sufficient to force them to play their hands and come out of hiding. It suggests they are preparing to go to war against one another.
