Hey guys, long time no see

I've been out of GC for way too long and I was thinking about joining next campaign, but anyways, my question is, what HP % are we considering using for the next campaign?

I think I read someone saying that he'd like to have the HC (60%) setting so Im guessing we still playing with 100%, any possibilities of taking in consideration something in between? 80 or 90% like I think we had back in BF 3?

The bullet-sponge dmg model that BF 4 currently has is what (mostly) drove me away from the infantry gameplay so I thought I'd catch up with that before anything else, I really liked that semi-HC feeling that GC had back in BF 3.

Isnt BF4 TTK (time to kill) faster than BF3? Or did they change that?

We tested different health settings some time ago and most people wanted 100% so you get less of these "perceived insta-deaths" from too slow netcode updates.

I am open to test health settings again.

We did a HP setting test after C1 I beleive (when I was still around)

without looking up in the forums because search tool 2 hard bro.

60% Worked but the skill difference of some people made them absolutely rape. Plus made it nearly impossible to take a flag on infantry only maps with the chopper as it just raeped everything within sight. plus rep monkeys died, alot. I mean like ALOT!

80% worked but with the damage models of some guns some where buffed and some where heavy nerfed (scarh become a boss iirc) and that was when the L85 was brutal that thing dropped poeples like flys. plus DMRs where taken more which promoted more campingassbuggery instead of PTFO!

So 100% was the only really available option. Plus it allowed people to play core modes and get better then bring those skills stright into GC, rather than with the HP drop/raise people where used to in BF3 (still a better game, JS)

Both times I TA'd, we tested health settings. Both times, unless you forced hardcore on, changing the HP percentage bugged the HP shown on the HUD, and also didn't take effect until after you took damage down to below the new 100% threshold. So due to the server code being a shambling mess, it wasn't worth the headache.

I believe in one campaign we played with slightly increased or decreased bullet damage, which had a similar impact to adjusting health but without the buggy HUD. But this also impacted other things and iirc didn't last after that campaign. Community voted on it every time it was brought up and always voted 100%, so that's what has stuck.

Although I do miss the GC battles, but sadly bf4 does not fill that
