I know that a poll was posted a while ago but l wanted too raise it again....

Who would want to make the next campaign a BF3 campaign instead of a BF4 campaign....

Please post your votes etc, it would be interesting to see and also to raise your problems/issues switching back to BF3 ?!?

Mixing things up would definitely be interesting.

I would love to see a BF3 campaign, even just once more.

Maybe we could do a mix of BF3/BF4 in a campaign, idk a pain in the ass maybe.

Peak numbers not available for BF3, but it still shows the issue: Even fewer people play BF3 than BF4.

Even if you could somehow convince all currently active GC members to install/purchase BF3, recruiting new players so we actually have enough for two armies will be nearly impossible.

Don't really care which it is at this point unless going back will suddenly mean more involved people and full servers.

Going between both seems inviable due to servercosts, although that's not something I have a clue about.

What about older members?

3. Air is alot alot alot more fun
4. True Battle Bus
5. Traditional Commanding (MAV WHORES)
6. GOD DAMN MUTHER TRUCKING SABALAN PIPELINE (still 13-0 on that map)

personally tired of BF4 and much of its bullshit. BF3 has its own issues, but some change up is nice.

But not sure if going back to BF3 is healthy for our community, though.

I just want to throw out there that BF3 is like 8 bucks on G2A, so if someone's worried about being left out of a BF3 campaign, I'm sure that can be resolved. On the other hand, there's the gun glitch, and I'm not sure what we can do about that besides manage.

I'd be careful returning to BF3. BF4 has it's problems but at least it's playable at all numbers. BF3 is not.

I'm not referring to playable as in fun, as that's subjective. I'm talking about playable as in the ability to actually play the game. At larger server numbers (~20 v 20, which is about where we played at for the last BF4 campaign) there is the gun glitch. It removes your gun from play and can only be fixed by rejoining (which may not help). It effects over half the joined players and more often than not resulted in round being scrubbed or restarted. BF3 ended up being unplayable for pretty much the whole community, not the one or two that have issues starting BF4 now.

Could BF3 change things up for GC? Yes.
Would it change it for the better? Probably not.

From a personal point of view, commanding from Commander Mode is much, much better than from a MAV.

As a foot note, would be nice for people to change their votes (who know, I may suddenly see BF3 as the next best thing since sliced bread).

They are adding the an94 to bf4 with the next dlc.
With our track record for bf3 you are going to get the gun glitch anyway

BF3 is s piece of crap no doubt.
Dieing around corners all the time.
Rear hit bug for armor.
Reactive not updating after repair for armor.
Lab stronger then MBT.
Unbalanced jets?
No commander mode.

Gun glitch at 50+ players.
Note that this bug was pretty unique to our community.
Never happened in other 64 communities like levelbf.
We first need to get 50+ players (which we didn't have most of the campaign) to even consider it as an issue, and then see how lucky we are to get hit by it again.


On the other hand
Better maps
Better hit indicators
Better gun play
No banned weapons

BF3 is far from perfect, yet for me its still much more fun then bf4.

Who knows, maybe the gun glitch went away...

Plus, I rather deal with the gun glitch then BF4's "gameplay" anyday.

I suppose no voting will be the "doesn't matter" option. Both are installed and are ready to roll. Will need those scrims to prepare though.
