If anyone was wondering why their stats sig from ausgamer was not working, this may clear things up a bit. I was just over at their site and this is the most recent news item concerning inop sigs.ausgamer wrote:14 July 2005 - We've confirmed that the stats stuff has been blocked at the GameSpy end. There is a (trivial) workaround to get it working again, but we're assuming that this change was made for a reason so we have contacted GameSpy asking for permission to continue this service. Please stay tuned!
I am of the opinion that they should have asked first not after being shut out. Kinda like taking the horse into the barn after the barn burned down, hehe!
