I'm not sure about this mode. On the one hand I suppose it makes it slightly more fair to those with slower reflexes when war breaks out but I could easily see that also screwing someone over since it would be essentially be a bonus to whoever joined first as I believe the turns go in order of the player number when its sequential. If it randomly determined the order every turn that would be cool though.
You're right. Hybrid is awful. We just tried it. It takes 10 MINUTES for one turn to go by... Never again.

OKAY GUYS. BNW is releasing on 7/9 which is a TUESDAY. Who here is down for a game of Civ with BNW at the start of the morning and hopefully we can actually finish this game?

ALSO. Game will release on steam at 9 PM PDT. I'm going to be playing by myself just to get a feel for what's changed and such.
Just making this post so everyone has the same opportunity to do so before tmw!

Hey guys!
I'm thinking of starting the game at SBT +3 instead of at SBT +1. This is so that players who ordered from GMG haven't received the keys yet and it would give us some time to learn the new things for a few hours before we delve into the match.
If this is not going to work for you, pls notify me!

Well, that was the first time in history of playing Civ that we actually finished a game. It was crazy. It was fun and we're gonna try and get another game going tonight at 9 PM PDT. I might be late from my dinner plans but I should be able to get back in time. I'll text you guys if I don't.
