Mid 2013: Battlefront announced being made by DICE
Aren't they working on BF4? Maybe it's a different studio... What happened to Mirrors Edge 2?
Late 2013: BF4 is released! A bit buggy, but fixes and DLC in the works!
Okay... Wait, there's going to be a Aircraft Carrier mode a la 2142's Titan mode?! Awesome! This is what I've been waiting for! Premium bought! Maybe there will even be a DLC like BF2's Special Forces! I want my zip lines and grappling hooks!
Early 2014: SWAT based Battlefield is rumored
BF4 just came out... how is there another game already being made? Maybe it's an expansion similar to the BF Vietnams... It has to be another developer though. We still have all the BF4 DLC and Battlefront and Mirror's Edge. I guess it might be cool to see it in a couple years.
Very Recently: Battlefield: Hardline! Coming FALL 2014
... Wut. But... BF4 isn't even a year old... It just entered "closed beta"... (Closed Testing Environment) The majority of the DLC still hasn't come out... What about Battlefront and Mirror's Edge? I guess it doesn't matter too much since it's a different developer. Whatever, it's not like I have to buy it. I'll stick with BF4 and hopefully it will be fixed soon and the DLC brings some more interesting maps.
Now: "Leaked" Omaha aka BF:H video
Yeah, whatever. It's got civi cars and more game modes. Doesn't change anything. I have BF4 and... Wait... Are those...
From the video: "Ziplines and grappling hooks and can be used on any map, anywhere"

You actually thought they might not charge full price?

Yeah

right.

I bet it will even have DLC that we can buy after the fact! Oh! Maybe there will even be a premium option so we don't have to pay full price! Are you excited? I'm so excited! See how excited I am for another game?

Battlefield Hardline?

And they did say it will be premium based, don't know if BF4/BF3 premium counts or if there's something separate or a hybrid

I...I can't even. This is an embarrassment. 1 year or less of true dev time on an engine that is still struggling to provide a half-decent experience and they release a remake of payday or APB.

Doubtful I even think to purchase this. Definitely not at $60. Complete joke.

It's the OV-10 not A-10, although I have no idea of any law enforcement agency that uses them either. I think they were used to spray dollars over coca fields in Columbia.

A more puzzling question is what would criminals fly?

The video went by so fast... lol next time I'll pause before commenting :silent:
I don't know my jets very well...
-----------------------------------------------------------

This makes me sad, the game has armed MD 520N's (Or 600N, can't really tell) and knowing me and my thing with Littlebirds...

Even worse, it's going to have air-to-air missiles and ground to air missiles.
I'm a quite worried how it's going to be balanced.
