Doom Open Beta Battleday? April 16

Doom 4 is going into open beta next weekend. April 15-17. Anyone else want to get together and enjoy throwback arena FPS? Nothing organized beyond everyone show up at SBT for some pwnage
I'm in luck, as my brother has managed to blow out his knee and needs sympathy gaming, so I can shirk fatherhood for a little while at least.
That sentence makes me look like a worse person than I really am, honest.

Bros you have to download this game.
The sound is screwed up on my PC, and without good teamplay you get stomped by a team with good teamplay
I have yet to figure out if this game is skillcapped (feels like it sometimes) or if everyone just sucks equally right now. Still fun though.

downloaded it at 5 AM cause I didn't sleep worth a damn. the following video sums up my thoughts better than the wall of text I almost wrote out can:
to me it just felt like some generic CoD/halo mod and I got bored extremely fast. throw in horrible pings to everything, which admittedly could just be a factor of me playing between 5:30 and 7:30 AM EST, and the multiplayer just didn't do anything for me.

Well, the hope on SP is still left... for arena style I'll stay with UT4.

Love it. Maxed out the beta level and kept playing. If UT 4 is even better, I'll be playing that too. Pre ordering tomorrow.

The stool is for my drumset lol. Also, the jar is peanutbutter which goes great with cannabis.

I am loving the singleplayer. Absolute BLAST to play, once you get into the groove you're a murdergod with lasers. I mean it's amazing.
Need to sleep now... wanted to beat it but flesh is weak
