Re: Health Testing Feedback Thread
I agree with Cognito. I had a worse time on the NA server shooting people than the EU server even though I am in NA but I am not sure if this had to do with the settings or just my connection. I think picking the two top options and testing them on each server would be beneficial in having an accurate test between the two.
Re: Health Testing Feedback Thread
Thanks everyone who responded. We'll be using the top voted settings on both servers this saturday in order to get a better feel for what we want for the full campaign, then a new poll with just those options will be put up.
EU Server Map 1 will be played at 105% bullet damage.
EU Server Map 2 will be played a default.
NA Server Map 1 will be played at 105% bullet damage.
NA Server Map 2 will be played at default.
Assuming we play more than 2 maps on each server, the generals will get to pick the setting for the third map.

Re: Health Testing Feedback Thread
Even though the server settings weren't quite as planned, I'm wondering what people think about the settings we tried(105% and 100%).
Personally, I feel 100% worked best with way fewer instant deaths than 105%. The TTK is higher, but not excessively so.

Felt okay in both scenarios on both servers.
Either would be a step in the right direction for a better experience

Re: Health Testing Feedback Thread
At 80% health bolt actions 1 shot at close and medium range, DMRs 1 shot headshot and 2 body shot with the lowest damage DMR, airburst is a 1 shot kill direct hit 2 shot proximity. I didn't feel like testing vehicles vs infantry because...Lawl. I'm not a big fan of the 80% health.
With 105% bullet damage I didn't really notice a huge difference from normal, tested with the guns I mentioned above, but it does buff fast firing weapons, so if you hated being killed by the acw, aek, famas, aws or other cqb weapons you will LOOOOve 105% bullet damage .

i didnt notice much difference between the bullet damages, but i got killed around corners a lot on the us server.
On another note , i did not really like playing with 80% health. I've never liked hardcore in battlefield

I didn't see much of difference with heath and bullet damage changes.
Maybe if I weren't shot behind every corner ever, I would be able to tell.

Re: Health Testing Feedback Thread
Another annoying thing that we noticed while testing the damages is that the double tap for the DMR to kill sounds and registers as 1 bullet but it is two. This is at 80% health.
Re: Health Testing Feedback Thread
I think 100% percent will just be the one we're most familiar with, easiest to transition from pub settings to gc (which seemed a problem yday ) and easiest for people new to GC

Re: Health Testing Feedback Thread
It was alot easier to kill infantry from armor with the 105% bullet damage, at least it felt that way.
