nvidea message(resolved)

Ive just installed my new graphics card but everytime i turn my PC on i get a message saying 'sli mode has been disabled because one of your cards has been removed'. How can i stop this from coming up?
I only have 1 card, and i dont intend to run in SLI. my motherboard doesnt even have a second PCIe slot.

omg, bf2 is having a brain fart over it too. It wont boot up! i double click the bf2 icon and it all looks good, but it just goes back to desktop within 5 seconds.
why am i not suprised bf2 has a problem with it but all my other games r fine.

You installed an old revision of a beta driver. A newer version is out and fixed the SLI message. Which does no harm at all btw. (except that it's annoying).

i installed the newest version of their drivers off the site today.
ill go and take a look for the fix

I recently updated my driver to the one Dax used (91.31), which is not a beta.
I also get the annoying message about not having/utilizing the most expensive product they sell.
I do not wish to use a beta (91.33).
Dax if you figure out how to turn off the "you don't have ... so you don't get..." message, please let me know.
I am still able to play BF2, before and after I updated my driver with only the 'EA standard' of crashes.

ive just downloaded the driver philor posted. im oging to use that.

If You are using latest non beta drivers 91.31 , than You should use Nvidia SLI Balloon registry fix .

Thx for the reg link, hadnt gotten around to researching it and being currently on dialup sucks downloading ALL files over 1 meg.
As for Nvidia, I have used an occasional Nvidia beta over the years and they have fixed problems for me without creating new ones. Now if only EA/Dice would release quality betas like that.

i installed the new graphics card, had to reinstal bf2, install the beta drivers and restart my comp about 300 times.
i loaded up bf2 and went into a server, what happened?
you guess it, crash to desktop.
frak i hate EA.
anyway, all working now.
