Please clarify your problem Titi.
Is the ABC application not working at all or do you actually mean Sign-Up for new recruits is not working?
I can go look but you may have a client end issue that I would not so better to give enough details to get fast help that might even work?

He meant that no battles were added to ABC. Not really an issue for the help forum but anyway...

seems ok for me EUBO NABO and next main are to see.
but if I m right the abc guru had some problems with it earlier and they're probably resolved now

It is convenient to sign up in advance while looking at the ABC which I do at the time of battles. There were no advance signups available immediately after last battle.

Glad to hear it Titi.............Considering ABC is a built from scratch application that does so much for our tourney relatively smoothly and without complaints...........I feel proud that GC has it as part of our site, unique and one of a kind.
Mat-d-Rat did an almost miraculous job crafting it, interfacing it with the website and making it appear very seamless to boot. He did a righteous job under a deadline.
He spent some very long days and nites for weeks at a time.............course he would mention that a couple players helped him at times but I can't remember who and if asked they would give all the credit to the
ABC meister.........he deserves it.

We use ABC for almost everything now, and it's all thanks to the wonderful workings of Mat-d-rat! Thanks bud, you're a true GC hero!

I sometimes wonder if this is a good or bad thing, does ABC take away too much from what used to happen in the forums? Maybe ABC needs some fresh blood in it, to automatically post messages when medals are presented, or ranks are gained so that everyone sees it etc. The forums need more activity to keep gc alive imo...

As I said ABC needs some fresh blood - I'm still adding small things (Map editor, draft manipulator, frontpage update) but my passion and love for GC got squished after I transferred the site, and got slagged off it by a certain person for my effort (Even though I had to convert the mysql and do several other things that he was unaware off).

Even if it just posts to a completely new page (a news-feed page which holds a quick newsbit for all activity of one/both armies?) rather than a thread in the forum, it would be pretty darn cool

Not being able to signup for the next battle seems to be a recurring problem. HC's harass players to signup and then theres periods when players cant signup.
When Mat or his minions have time, being able to have the whole campaign (10-12 weeks for holidays) programmed in for signup would be a nice feature.
Or at make the next 2 main battledays and next 2 BO days automatically available with the ability to edit.
Just add to wishlist.
