Push to talk key

Thanx for the guide to Team Speak. Good toot there. One thing I may suggest tho.

The guide says "I personally use the "F" key". That is to push to talk. I set this key up in my configuration and found two conflicts:

First, the F key is used by BF2 to cycle weapons. Not a problem really, simple matter of changing key assignments.

The second, tho, was a bit more unnerving. It caused my Team Speak screen to scoll like crazy whenever I pushed to talk!

Upon consult with other team members here at GC, I switched my push to talk button to the mouse #2 button. That is the button on the scroll wheel. If your not familiar with this, as it very rarely ever gets used, just press down on your scroll wheel and you will find there is a button there!

You may want to include this info. in the guide for noobies, such as myself, in order to avoid the problems I just outlined.

Personaly I use the V key, cause the only thing I cannot do while talking is jumping, because using the F key to talk, you will loose some control on your strafing, and using the middle key of the mouse will prevent you from switching weapon...

I've used my Right Control key as push to talk for a long time, but resently I've discovered I'm going to need to switch it (probably to the mouse) as that key is hard to reach when flying the helo (with a mouse and keyboard setup)

I might take the alternative of using Mouse2 as I use the keyboard to change weapons anyway so if I disable my mousewheel from weapon cycle I wont accidently switch weapons while talking

I use the right-alt button for push to talk, left ctrl+alt for chat to all channel commanders, left ctrl+1 for all channel commanders in channel family, and left ctrl+2 for chat all in channel family :P Only problem with right alt is the occasional conflict in progams (seems a lot of programs like to use the ALT button for random functions :P)

As for the mention of the mouse scroller button.. I actually use that a lot! It's my prone button :)

PTT = Mouse button #4
CC in family = Mouse Button #3
All CC = P
All in Channel family = O

I rarely use the last two during combat unless I'm FCing so the fact that they're on the other side of the keyboard doesn't matter.

So what your trying to say is that you want to do a lot more FC'ing in the future?
