Guys wich Tastatur Layout you need for BF2? I search for a long time to make the perfekt Layout but some numpad keys can not bind!
google is much confuse and ea ist not good in help a minority!
So i need to change some informations with you!

How about I J K L ? There are lots of keys around them which can be used for reloading crouching etc.

I just use the arrow keys for movement, right ctrl for jumping, right shift for sprinting and keypad ins for ducking. Keypad del for going prone. The keypad I use for most radio messages.

I use the arrow keys as well. Old school, I guess
Then I have Num 1 as reload, Num 0 as jump, right ctrl for crouching and right shift for running. Fast switch and the comm rose are mouse buttons 4 and 5, prone is mouse button three

nice i am a numpad user from cs beta 1.1 and i use the following key settings 4,6 strafe 5 forward 3 backard 1 jump 3 duck 0 lie 7spot 9 drop /squadmenu numpadenter use, but i need to know how the + make to reload!

You can't really use wasd when you're left handed hence this thread.

Thanks for the tip lucky that i have bf2142 too so i can copy the keybinding from one con to the other.

yeah u have ur CFG in --- My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001!
I use WASD for movement, and i have some more mouse buttoms for the big map and for my granates!

I'm a lefty!! I used to use the arrow keys but got sick of stretching my fingers to other keys in the same area of the keyboard.
I now use WSAD, it was pretty easy to get used to only took me a few hours of gaming and then just felt normal.
