PSA: Problems after TS update?

After yesterdays update, some people we're having problems with their CC whispers and soundpacks.

The update changed the 'Complete Channel Family' option in the whisper options to 'All Channels'. Simply change it back to 'Channel Commander' in 'Complete Channel Family' and you're done.
EDIT: It seems, that on restart it keeps resetting the whisper to 'Server Group - Guest' in 'All Channels'. I'll look for a solution.

If you're having trouble with changing your soundpack (i know Hitman tried to deactive his.), check your bookmark settings. You can set individual soundpacks for different servers and for some reason the update changed all bookmarks to the default, female pack. If you set all your bookmarks to 'Default', it should use the one from your settings.

Good news everyone!

I made a post about the Channel Commander issue in the TS3 Bug Reports forum:
http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthread.p ... -on-launch

... and apparently they are working on a fix.

Great! Just a few months and we'll be right as rain!

flummi and I were testing it earlier today, its not fixed yet sadly. For now this means having to change your whispers to the correct one every time you log onto ts :/

That patch was just a hotfix for the soundpack issue:

Code: Select all

=== Client Release 3.0.9.1 25 Oct 2012
+ Added button in notifications to set all bookmark soundpacks to "default".
- Fixed converter setting "default" instead of "default female voice" so old
  bookmarks use soundpack in notifications.

Well, it only took them 2 days for the soundpack hotfix, so there's hope...

After yesterday's (thursday 26OCT2012) update, I found that the TS overlay wouldn't update itself (showed whoever was in the last channel you were in when you left that channel, doesn't show who's talking) when you switch into a different channel. Anybody have a similar issue and/or know of a fix?

can you still connect without updating it? I thought you had to update TS in order to use it.

More good news:

Code: Select all

=== Client Release 3.0.9.2 29 Oct 2012
- Reverted running privileged behaviour which was changed for 3.0.9 and causes
  hotkeys not working with games running as administrator.
- Fixed writing whisper group targets.
I tested it too, CC whispers save properly again.
