Bottom line: The system is f*cked to all hell. I hit enter to log in, it tells me I have a bad password, hit it again, same message. Hit enter again, I log in. Same problem with the demo. Patch this game fast.

Do you have a firewall? Try without.

anyway here is EA's tech support link.

The account you create is a gamespy account. You can use an existing one too or create one thru gamespy arcade besides creating one in game.

I've had the same thing happen to me...I'm also not having my stats tracked. Anybody else having this?

Otherwise, I'm loving this...VOIP is a major plus. This game is going to be a hell of alot of fun... 8)

Stats and commendations are only recorded on ranked servers. In the in-game browser the ranked are distinguished from the unranked with a Corporal rank. You know the 2 yellow bands.

I've been on ranked servers, and still haven't had my stats recorded, I think the system ain't right myself too...and the ranked servers seem to be running like a ninety year old with emphezema that still smokes a pack a day.

It takes time for the stats servers to catch up with current standings. Give em an hour or two after you play and then check again, Windrider687.

Topher,

I agree with sushi here, failure to connect is most likely a firewall that hasn't been ported correctly. Look in your install guide that came with game, the ports are listed.

Yeah, later that evening EA came out with the "oops we didn't think BF2 was going to be a blockbuster hit, so we had really slow recording processes'
