CD/DVD emulation software has been detected. Please disable all CD/DVD emulators and restart the game.

any ideas guys?

Are the virtual drives still in your drive list? You will have to remove them.

Also try installing Alcohol120, a full clean install, it worked for me on a different game. but I did that on a new HD.

Good Luck

Well if you don't have any funky things going on, on your computer, such as the aforemented: virtual drives, and 'other' ahem software, then you could be having hte problem I had with another game. The cd copyright protection, is 'too good' and it even tags legit cds/drives, the best thing to do is make sure you have firmware/drivers up to date on your drive...you can usually do a dxdiag, or an analysis scan on your drive to see what kind o' drivers you have on your drive already and then you can go to the manufacturer's site for the download, to download and updated ones...if not, then you could always slap another drive in there, if you have a spare...if worse comes to worse, well you're SOL.

I had to un-install both Alchol 120%, and Nero's Drive Image, to get rid of the error.
