Templer´s old love - PB-update prob [RESOLVED]

Hey guys!
Is there a trick to get PB working after not having played BF42 for 8 month?
I keep getting kicked....pls dont ask for errorcode...^^
see you around...and perhaps on bf2 grounds.

thiers a new updater for PB get that and it should be fine after updating.

I got everything I could get from PB,...thats why I am posting here...
...I never had any probs with Bf42 (allies weren´t really a problem
).....could it be my new router?

After updating, downloading etc...I am still facing the same problems.
error code is: A1331C1.179
Google is impotent on this one.
Hope anybody can help.

There was a small patch for bf42, but it was over a year ago. But check to make sure you have the latest version.
If that is not the issue, make sure you have all patches backed up and then reinstall bf42.

could be your router but i still think its the PB updater i had the same problem with BF2.
here's wot happened after updating, the new updater would say files have been installed succesfully but i was still getting kicked from server
it turned out that the updated file was not going to the correct folder
even though the updater said it had .
please make sure the updated file goes to the PB folder u can actually watch it, tell the updater were to send the file ,that was the only way i could get mine to work. hope i have explained it right not easy in text.
let me know how u get on. depending on were u are i could give u a ring
maybe i can help u by phone but i'm no expert.

Hey MadRat,
that was exactly the problem. The Updater updated the wrong folder.
After finding that out and moving the files in the correct folder, there were no more PB-Kicks!

btw- Templer- you still won me an answer on that diving-lamp issue (I do have that new volume of Tauchen though that covers lamps also).
