I wasn't sure if we wanted AA mines in c2 or not, as it allows the eng to be both anti-air and anti-vehice at the same time, however with this exploit i say ban that damn thing!

As always, DICE screwed up with weapon balance again.

- All AA missiles impact force reduced by 50%. However, Stingers and Iglas are unaffected.
I believe this was an oversight because those missiles are located in different folders and were probably forgotten about.

- Although the Active Radar Missiles on Jets had their cones of fire reduced making them more difficult to land hits with, the MAA ARM's were unaffected. This was almost assuredly an oversight.

- Boat 25mm reduced splash radius.
- Boat 25mm burst is now travel faster, no drop-off, but reduced range.
- Boat 30mm reduced splash radius.

- IFV Flechette reduced range, significantly increased max damage range, increased maximum damage falloff distance.
IFV Flechette now does more damage for the first 125m, beyond that range it was nerfed.

-ARM from jets are useless. Another reason to just us guided missiles.

-Who used flechettes on the IFV ? :P

-No exploits on GC, and i´m sure we dont need the AA mines to be use on the campaign.

Didnt TV missiles penetrated AP? EDIT: i saw then that it was a TOW missile :|

Vehicle hit detection was really buggy since...1942? I mean, it was the same story on BF3 at least. The hitbox of vehicles is a bit behind on what you see on the model. Thats the reason of the "magic" shots at air vehicles. Anyway, i´m sure everyones has experience seeing the driver of any tank shooting far behind or forward but he still manages to land the this cause in his screen everything is "fine".

Anyway i think i have overcome or just learn to ignore the flaws with the game. It frustrate you less if you ignore them rather than looking at them in details. If it helps you good for yourself.

PD: i just missed the BF3 bullshit. At least it was funny. Knife teleportation, i miss you.

How can you ignore that? you can only ignore it if you don't know/don't care about your abilities.
In that particular scene i saw that guy already used up his active protection, i had environment awareness, i had a tactic, and i executed it as planned. On paper i should have destroyed him and float away with 80HP, it wasn't even remotely close. He on the other hand didn't care at all. He saw my boat and charged at it at full speed even though he already used up his active protection, he saw that i activated my active protection but he fired and was supposed to "waste" his TOW missile on it. how come this oblivious game style of mashing keys regardless of the situation and whats around you is equal and even superior to calculated, by-the-book play?
you can only ignore it and think it was fair fight if you are that oblivious player that don't see all those factors that come into play in a fight.

In GC this is going to a lot more frustrating as armor battles are often very close, a lot of times it comes down to the person who fired first, and this will completely shift the situation up-side-down for no reason, potentially winning or loosing the map for your team.

And this problem is not rare at all.

ps. TVs are blocked by active protection since March 6 patch.
