So we are running ahead of schedule on the push of the new forum software. With the <s>snickering</s> support of the Execs, I (we?) have decided that the best time to make the move is the soonest available time... which is tonight.

- The site backup will initiate at 8:00pm EDT tonight (Monday, July 20).

- In order to avoid asynchronous data transfer, access to the site will be disabled during this time.

- Expected total downtime is expected to be as long as 5 hours (hopefully not!)

- Goggles will be on teamspeak during the entire process if you have questions.

- Accounts maintenance will also occur during this time; some (many) inactive accounts will be pruned during the move.

- Your account may have some lost or changed group permissions. If you have trouble posting/viewing a forum, send a PM to Goggles.

- Common Side Effects Include:
* Nausea
* Dry mouth
* Diarrhea or constipation
* Problems with sexual health
* Dizziness
* Problems sleeping
* Drowsiness
* Weight changes
* Anxiety/agitation
Please do not take if you are pregnant or nursing.

looking forward to the switch. just one question, is there a new address we have to go to or will www.global-conflict.org still work? cause I know when we started (and never finished) the new website a couple years back it was tng.global-conflict.org or something of that nature. links are cool, right?

You can still use www.global-conflict.org to get to the site. It'll just look differently
