On Thursday Battlefield would get the update that we all have been waiting for, and from the patch notes there are clear signals that this game would be completely different after the patch, and one day is not enough for US to get use to the changes, so are we going to roll with it? Or are we going to hold off the battleday for a week? I know Hitcorp is getting a reform too so I guess that give everybody some time right?

Well, I think both teams will have to adapt to the changes, so no one is getting an advantage from that. So I see no reason to cancel the next battleday. Just my two cents.

We have had a lot of changes in the last couple of weeks, but we have always pulled through. It is a good point that it will bring a learning curve, but my concern isn't the content itself rather its indirect potential system, server, and network issues that may arise from it.

That all said this will be discussed, and any concerns regarding game will be brought to light within the next couple of days.

GC always apply patches the moment they were released. So no holding off. Patch your systems asap.

The hold off wasn't regarding to allow the patch since the game will not play without out.

Cancel the battleday ?!?

WHY WOULD YOU PREACH SUCH FOUL BLASPHEMIES

In the old days when you could run your own server we may have help off though the serverws we use will get updated so no need not to update. We will have to adjust.

Is there any source that gives the patch release date?

There are no direct answers regarding the patch date, but when I had found one it was gone the next day. It is as though EA has, an issue with its customer base being informed.

Or the patch was broken beyond EA's standards.

That bar is actually set so low that you would have to dig yourself beneath it, to be able to pass.

A lot of people not reading what I tweeted. Tomorrow we can say WHEN the patch is due. The patch itself is NOT released tomorrow.

I didn't realise the patch was such a big deal that they have a release date for the release date...
