GC Server Feedback

just wanted a thread on how you guys felt the servers were today as far as lag/"netcode" and that type of "magic" BF4 is known for. Obviously it wasn't full so it's not a perfect stress test, but would just like some opinions.

for me personally, I get around a 130 ping to the EU server and 35 to the NA server, and didn't feel like I was getting killed behind walls or stuff that often. Although on Oman I did hit the attack chopper a few times with tank shells, watched the explosion, and watched the chopper fly off like nothing happened.

It wasn't fully loaded. But I did not feel there was any other weirdness playing on the EU server than what can be expected for 180 ping. Which surprises me for BF4.

felt good too. No stutter or lags.
happy with a 130 ping to NA ( I still get more kills with high ping so NA was more fun than the EU with a 50 ping)
So far some of the best rounds I played with BF4

Commander worked fine
But the ping seems a little bit high for the NA server for some reason.

Didn't notice any difference between the Na and Euro server, which is nice

how much of that was to do with the fact the na server used 80-90% health is potentially unclear

(psst, keep 80%, i love it)

The health thing is weird. When When we set it to 80/90%, you still SPAWN with the default "100" (which is where the 113/124 was coming from), but if you take damage you only heal up to 80/90%. Personally... I like that, but it's still awfy weird.

Yeah pretty weird. It kinda makes you missjudge how many bullets you need to hit someone with.

If that's the case, I'd try 60%. You get your virgin 100, then if healed or revived, you only get 60 back. Walking wounded.

No complaints, but I reserve judgment until we play with a full 66 player load.

Servers were fine up until we started playing caspian where I was getting rubber banding. May have been on my end, not sure.

US server randomly gave me huge lagspikes that rubberbanded me ~10-20 meters backwards which was followed up by a crash every single time. Happened 3 times during guilin peaks. EU was fine.

Huge lagspikes on NA server.
