Playing with friends is always fun, but that what you do during the week on a public server.
I enjoy a challenge. It brings everything together. More complex strategies, tighter teamplay and higher discipline. And that leads to closer rounds and a 10 times better experience.
Lets take a look at the previews campaign for a moment:
1st battleday as good, 2nd battleday was good, 3rd battleday UL#7 lost all maps but the first, 4th battleday UL#7 lost all maps, 5th battleday UL#7 lost all maps, 6th battleday lost everything + surrender.
Lets count how many balanced battles there were last campaign... 2.
just 2 battles out of 5.5 battles were not a complete pubstomp.
I enjoy a challenge. When the outcome of a campaign is predetermined before the BFI or even the player draft, theres little challenge and its not a lot different then playing on a public server with your friends.
Hell its more likely to come across a more balanced round in pub play then in GC lately.
