Seems that it doesnt contain the last updates still.
Looking at the official website right now, and it says 24 players max... Coming out in July on consoles, September for PC. Let's see if they change max player for the PC version, because there a fair chance it will.

This is the only time I wont bitch out EA (Philor take note). Dice has said they wont port, hence the later PC release. Which means EA has given Dice the Godfather nod on spending additional money. Cool.
Eurogamer: The PC version of Battlefield 1943 didn't happen. What's happening there?
Patrick Soderlund: We are obviously working on the PC platform and we'll be ready to talk about that shortly. You should see information around the PC platform in the not too distant future.
Eurogamer: So the message is the game is not dead?
Patrick Soderlund: We'll comment on it when we have information.
Confusing to say the least. Its like they really are working on the game but haven't decided if it will actually be released.
I don't really get what is taking them so long. The PS3 version is out a year now. Don't they recently always port games from PS3 platform to PC anyway? Press the "port" button and voilà!

lol well said. Although I don' think that can be. BC2 still has so many bugs after I don't know how many patches.
I did BFBC2 beta and waited about 4 months to play the release. So at least for me, it was decently patched for an EA game when I did play. The bugs are actually pretty tame for me at this point. I have bigger issues with the blatant aimbots and their multiple banned CD-keys. Speaking of patches, the couple weeks I took off to play Fall Out: New Vegas, there seems to be a big update to BFBC2 for me.
